Example Property - Number of Sessions

The Increment On Change Function can be used to perform a mathematical addition each time an unique event property field is received.

The 'Number of Sessions' example below uses an increment of system.currentSession which means that each time currentSession field in event is unique property will increment by 1.

This function collates a unqiue count for each customer within the data planning system to allow users of the platform to target customers based on the number of unique sessions they have had.

Comparator Not ticked This property does not compare the value of the event before setting
Function Increment On Change This function increments the current value of the property by 1 if value Event Property has changed
Session Property Not ticked This is not a session property
