SMS Send To...

If you wish to send an SMS communication to yourself (or others) you can trigger this process manually without having the need to set up a programme to do so.

Currently there are two options available for triggering the SMS sending process.

Send to me...

The 'Send to me...' feature can be used to send the selected SMS Campaign to your current logged in user. This users email address will be used to look up the corresponding customer details and will attempt to send the SMS to the customers corresponding number.

This feature can be accessed from the campaigns screen. Simply locate your SMS campaign(s) and select options > Send to me... 

This process will differ slightly if the selected campaign has variations enabled and configured. If this is the case there will be an extra prompt to specify which variation you wish to send:

Simply select your variations from the variations menu and click 'Send SMS'

Send to...

'Send to...' works slightly different to so 'Send to me...' as it will require manually inputting the specified customers email address. The value entered into this prompt will then be used to perform a customer details lookup and if the corresponding customer has the correct details, they will be sent the selected campaign.

This feature can be accessed from the campaigns screen. Simply locate your SMS campaign(s) and select options > Send to...

You will then be prompted for an input such as this:

In this example, after clicking 'Send SMS' the campaign 'SMS Campaign' will be sent to the customer example@intilery.com.

If the Selected campaign has variations configured and enabled the prompt for the customer to send to will look slightly different

You will now need to specify which variation to send and which customer to send said variation to.
