Scheduling A Campaign

Navigate to the Campaigns screen then click the Options button next to the Campaign you wish to schedule.

Then click the Schedule Campaign link shown in the screenshot below.

You will then be presented with a screen that allows you to configure who the campaign will be sent to, and at what time the campaign will be sent.

Each of the options are explained in the table below the screenshot.

The screen above shows a programme that will be created for the sending of the email, it is possible to configure further actions to happen before or after the sending of the campaign. Please see documentation on the Programme section for detail on this.

Property Meaning
Allow Concurrent Runs Allow the programme to run multiple times at the same time per customer.
For email campaigns programmes this should be set to false.
Total Customers The total number of customers that the programme will run for.
The total number of customer that the system will attempt to send the email campaign to. Note that customers may get filtered out of the email send - for further details see Who Gets Filtered Out
Only Non Open/Clicks Will only send the email campaign to customers who have not opened or clicked this email campaign before.
Useful for when you want to maximise the chances of a customer opening your email.
Include Lists Will only send the email to customers who belong to the lists selected
Include Segments Will only send the email to customers who belong to the segments selected
Include DPS Will only send the email to customers who belong to the DPS queries selected
Only Subscribed Will only send to customers who are subscribed
If the email is a service email (sometimes known as transactional) and you want to send this to every customer then un-tick this option. Note that customers who are marked as "do not send" will not receive the email, for more details see Who Gets Filtered Out
Exclude Lists Will exclude customers who belong to the lists selected
Exclude Segments Will exclude customers who belong to the segments selected
Exclude DPS Will exclude customers who belong to the DPS Queries selected
Start At The Data and Time to start sending the campaign.
Please allow enough time for the system to send to all customers if you require that your emails reach inboxes by a certain time
Reoccurs Whether the programme should reoccur and at what frequency, generally this should not be used for email campaigns
